The weather is getting warmer, and the Byward Market is bustling with activity.

The vendors are opening their stalls, the flowers are blooming, and the streets are alive with the sounds of people shopping, performers on every corner, and pets happy to be on a walk. With the excitement of summer just around the corner, our staff has pulled out all the stops to create some new, soon to be classic, Saslove Treats. New to our line-up of BBQ ready goodies are: Red Wine and Shallot Sirloin Steaks, Honey Garlic Pork Sirloins, and Chimichurri Marinated New York Steaks!

But not to worry: all of the old favourites have kept our girls working hard. Marinated Hanger Steaks, Semi-Boneless Cornish Hens, and Marinated Chicken Breasts are always on the shelves.

And not to be forgotten is our always colourful Kabob Counter. New this year is our already popular Maple Chipotle Pork Kabob Other favourites include: Chipotle Beef Kabobs, Chicken and Lamb Souvlaki Skewers, and Ginger Lime Chicken Kabobs.

When the usual BBQ fixings have you bored, we are always happy to give suggestions. Starting this summer, we have begun to carry a select few of our stuffed chicken breasts , available pre-packaged in our display cooler.

Needless to say, with all the work we put into making your BBQ season fantastic and flavour-filled, we understand if, when you have guests, you want to take all the credit.
